In 2010 Bobi launched its first small men's collection available only in Europe.  Bobi plans to launch “Bobi Men’s” in the US for Fall 2014 because of the quick growth seen in Europe.   Although not available in the US yet, Bobi has acquired a large celebrity and musician fan base which includes Gilles Marini, Chris Noth and Kevin Costner. The high demand for men's has encouraged bobi to launch a limited edition collection earlier, for Fall'13/Spring'14 titled Bobi Collaborative with Cisco Adler.  This line will be available exclusively, in the US for two seasons.  This collection will feature the high end, cutting edge, haute fitting t-shirts Bobi Men’s is famous for, as well as branch out into a full knit men’s collection, with a variety of texture, fabrics and washes.   This collection is for the metropolitan man who is sophisticated, edgy and individual.  The vibe is Johnny Deep meets young James Dean with traditional knit garments roughed up with rock and roll flare. Musician Cisco Adler is best known for his collaborations as a singer, writer and producer with artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Shwayze and G.Love.   He recently dropped his solo debut album "ALOHA", a blend of rock and rap coupled with the sounds of his Hawaiian roots.   Spending his childhood between Los Angeles and Hawaii he was exposed at a young age to the arts and the Hollywood rock and roll scene.  Born son of legendary producer Lou Adler, who is most known for producing artists like the Mammas and Pappas and directed/produced the iconic films Up in Smoke and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.   Lou Adler is a Hollywood pioneer who cultivated the California music scene.  He is responsible for opening famous Sunset Strip venues such as the Roxy.  Lou Adler created the Monterey Music Festival, in the 60’s, which featured career catapulting performances by Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin and The Who. Cisco was bound to be the Renaissance man he is today.  His next artistic endeavor is in the fashion world.  Cisco has always had a passion for fashion and a designer eye.  He has been involved in opening several contemporary pop up stores nationwide, collaborated with brands such as Oakley and has an accessory/apparel line called Bannanbeat, named after his personally owned music label, Bannanbeat Records. Bobi designer Kara Lusardi chose Cisco for this collaboration for two reasons.
“He is my model customer and he is a talented artist. Cisco and I met through his wife bobi model Barbara Adler.  He became a fan of the brand and we had talked multiple times about doing a line together.  I like the idea of side projects and collaborating to express a variety of ideas.  I love being around other talented artists and I think by working with Cisco, I will feel inspired to push my ideas and enhance the men's line.  I like his point of view, taste level and fresh ideas.  He is very involved in the whole design process.  I am doing this project while we have the chance before the bobi Men's line hits the US in Fall 2014.  The Bobi Collaborative with Cisco Adler collection will be available exclusively in the USA featuring bobi Men's best sellers, celebrity favorites, and fashion forward cuing edge styles with hot fits.  Bobi will use this as a chance to prelaunch and test the USA market, while Cisco makes his mark as a designer collaborating with myself on this project.  He hopes to continue on with his own clothing line and open his own stores.”
Bobi collaborative with Cisco Adler will be available in boutiques nationwide in Spring 2013.  Cisco will be making appearances and doing performances at select stores carrying the line alongside his "ALOHA” tour.
